Each spring Calvin College hosts a 5K race and a ½ mile fun run.( 3-9 yrs.) The proceeds go to scholarships to incoming freshman. To encourage students and families to participate, Calvin offers the D&W School Challenge for schools to try to get the most runners to sign-up for the Calvin Spring Run under their school’s name. This is an opportunity to represent GRCS in a fun run/5K Race. The entire school, as well as, families and friends are invited to participate. All sign-ups will be done on-line. Be sure to look for the D&W SCHOOL CHALLENGE button near the end of the registration process and sign up for the Grand Rapids Christian Schools.
